Turkey sends medical supplies to Azerbaijan to combat against spread of coronavirus

Turkey sent medical aid supplies to Azerbaijan to combat against novel coronavirus outbreak that claimed thousands of lives worldwide, AzVision.az reports citing the Embassy of Turkey to Azerbaijan.

Medical aid supplies inlcude 30 ventilators, 55,000 personal protective equipment (PPE), 50,000 N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, 5,000 medical glasses, 200,000 gloves and 40,000 boxes of various medicines used to treat the virus.

"Turkey believes that the cooperation and solidarity of all countries will help to achieve success in the fight against the virus, and in this emergency time we are living in, we are making every effort to contribute to the global fight against the pandemic.

"This aid sent by us is also a contribution to the battle of brotherly Azerbaijan agains the virus. This aid, which is a natural result of our close relations, is a strong manifestation of Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood that was demonstrated by Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan at every opportunity."

We wish this aid will contribute to Azerbaijan's fight against the coronavirus. We take this opportunity to wish good health to our brothers and sisters who died from the virus, and a quick recovery to the patients. "
