Azerbaijan abolishes some statuses of refugees
The person, obtained the status of refugee, was to provide household equipment in special allocated places until acquiring the job or place of residence at his own expense.

The Cabinet of Ministers has made an amendment to its decision on the ratification of "the rule for persons who have obtained the status of refugee of IDP to live in especial places allocated for them until they find a workplace and a residential place", "the rule for persons who have presented an application on obtaining the refugee status to make use of a residential place allocated in the temporary settlement until the refugee status issue is solved".

Under this decision, another amendment was made to "the rule for persons who have obtained the status of refugee of IDP to live in especial places allocated for them until they find a workplace and a residential place". Up until now this rule has also defined the rule for persons with refugee status to live in especially allocated places for a maximum of three months until they find a workplace and a residential place. At the same time, persons who have obtained the refugee status could live for a maximum of three months in especially allocated places until they find a workplace and a residential place. The settlement of persons who have obtained the refugee status in especially allocated places until they find a workplace and a residential place has been carried out the State Committee on the Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, the State Migration Service, and related local executive powers.

While the person acquiring refugee status was provided with temporary residence, number of his family members and social context were to be taken into account. The person, obtained the status of refugee, was to be provided with temporary places until acquiring the job or place of residence not violating the rights of other persons.

The person, obtained the status of refugee, was to provide household equipment in special allocated places until acquiring the job or place of residence at his own expense. Maintenance, repair and restoration of special places allocated to the person, obtained the status of refugee, until acquiring the job or place of residence were to be met by the relevant institutions and organizations. Any damage to the temporary places was to be paid by the person, obtained the status of refugee. The person, granted with the status of refugee by the State Committee on the Affairs of Refugees and IDPs or State Migration Service, was to be provided with special places meeting the requirements necessary for a living until acquiring the job or place of residence. While moving the special place allocated to him, the person, obtained the status of refugee, was to hand over it to the State Committee on the Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, State Migration Service or executive authorities in a previous state. According to the amendment, these requirements for refugees were abolished.

The decision will enter into force on the date on which it is signed.
