Russian broadcaster announces view ratings of Baku 2015 in country
The All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), a Russian broadcaster of the Baku 2015 first European Games, has announced the view ratings of the Games in country.
Dmitry Anisimov, the deputy editor of sports channels within VGTRK, said the first European Games attracted more spectators than it was expected.

“The Baku 2015 has high ratings. Initially, we wanted to cover the organization of the Games. As everything was at a high level, we decided to expand the scope of broadcast. Rhythmic gymnastics and synchronized swimming competitions attract more spectators,” Anisimov added.

Answering the question “Are you satisfied with Baku’s hosting the games?” he said: “Professionals from all over Europe are working in Baku. Everything is at the highest level.
