AzVision.Az reports citing the Defense Ministry that the statement is contained in the congratulatory message of Defense Minister, colonel-general Zakir Hasanov, sent to the personal staff of the armed forces on occasion of the Day of Armed Forces - 26 June.
"High combat spirit is observed among Azerbaijani soldiers of all our military units, particularly, those on the front line.
The material supply of Azerbaijani army is at the highest level. Weapons and hardware, which we have purchased recently, give the ground to say that we are able to fulfill the assigned tasks", the minister said.
According to Zakir Hasanov, the army personnel demonstrates its professionalism, high combat readiness during the large-scale tactical exercises at any time of the day and in any climatic conditions.
"Though Armenian armed forces are regularly violating ceasefire, thanks to the alertness of our soldiers and offiers, the enemy is silenced by retaliatory fire, the attacks of intelligence and diversive groups are prevented timely. Azerbaijani soldiers perform their duties decently and responsibly on the ground, in the sea and in the air", he said.
