Protests in Armenia to lead to new migrations to Turkey, says MP
The protests in Armenia may cause a new wave of migration from that country, and it is not ruled out that the migrants will prefer Turkey, Mazhar Bagli, member of the board of Turkey
He said that currently over 100,000 illegal immigrants from Armenia are living in Turkey.

“Europe’s double standards in relation to the developments in Armenia are becoming more obvious against the backdrop of protests in Yerevan,” he further said.

He said that as soon as an incident takes place in Turkey or in other Muslim country, it immediately becomes the focus of attention of Western media.

Bagli said Europe supports Armenia’s government, and therefore it is not reacting to human rights violations in that country.

“It is useless to expect any response from Europe to the developments in Armenia,” he said.

On the morning of June 23, the Armenian police using rubber truncheons and water cannons violently dispersed sit-in rally participants at Baghramyan Avenue in downtown Yerevan.

They were protesting against the rise in electricity price.
