Kerry arrives in Vienna for talks on Iran nuclear program
US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in the Austrian capital to take part in the Iran nuclear negotiations, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported Friday.
Another round of talks on the level of political directors of Iran and the six international negotiators, comprising the United States, China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Germany, is due to start in Vienna.

Earlier in the day, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi told Sputnik that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will arrive in Vienna on Saturday to join talks with other foreign ministers in the P5+1 negotiations on the country’s nuclear energy aspirations.

The P5+1 group and Tehran have to reach a deal, securing the peaceful nature of Tehran`s nuclear program in exchange for easing of sanctions as the June 30 deadline is looming.

In April, the negotiators managed to reach a political framework deal on the issue.
