The Head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told journalists: “Today, PACE summer session has ended and Spanish Hardy Chukla has been appointed as the head of PACE Observation Mission PACE to observe the parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan. I think that this appointment will assess the elections objectively and both short and long term observation mission will be sent to Azerbaijan. However, I’d like to note that the events occurred in this session made us think seriously. Is it important to cooperate with the Council of Europe, not only on human rights, or not? This is a serious question and we go back home with this question”, Seyidov said.
