According to the headquarter of GUAM in Kiev, the first meeting of GUAM PA Committee for Political, Legal and interregional cooperation Issues was held in GUAM Secretariat, on June 26.
The meeting discussed the draft resolution on political and legal aspects of the settlement of territorial conflicts in the GUAM area and the strengthening of member states` positions through inter-parliamentary interaction.
The attendees also exchanged views on the issues such as the implementation of the joint statements and other documents signed by the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly, the mutual activities with parliamentary assemblies of the other international and regional organizations, as well as date and place of the meetings of other committees.
The participants adopted a protocol on the outcomes of the meeting.
