Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on awarding members of the Executive Committee of the European Olympic Committees with honorary diplomas of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Members of the EOC Executive Committee Kikis Lazarides, Raffaele Pagnozzi and Janez Kocijančič were awarded for their merits in arrangement and successful holding of the first European Games.
Under another order of the head of state, Deputy Chairman of the Baku 2015 Coordination Commission Zlatko Mateša was awarded with an honorary diploma of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic for his merits in arrangement and successful holding of the first European Games.
