Roads from Karabakh to Armenia blocked, Armenians in panic

The leadership of the separatist regime, so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" instructed the local population not to go outside and ordered to gather in shelters, AzVision.az reports.

At the same time, in the morning hours, restrictions were imposed on the supply of electricity to the city of Khankendi, and the roads to Khankendi and Armenia were closed by the military so that the population could not leave.

Today, the so-called "republic" has held an extraordinary meeting on the general mobilization of the population. The local population is in a panic over what is happening.

At present, the streets of Khankendi are completely cleared of the civilian population, only intensive movement of military equipment is observed along the streets. According to the report, it was decided to involve "volunteers" and work in this direction has already begun. Car traffic between Khankendi and Armenia has been completely suspended. There are rumours among local residents that the only way to ease the tension is with the intervention of official Moscow.
