Indian PM to visit C. Asia to discuss countering IS
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss countering the spread of Islamic State (IS) with the leaders of five Central Asian countries during his next week visit, local media reported on Wednesday.
Modi will tour Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan from July 6 to 13. He will also travel to the Russian city of Ufa to attend the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization summits, The Hindu daily reported.

The prime minister will discuss counter-terror technology, training forces and also countering radicalism, according to newspaper.

Indian government has recently appointed a special envoy to liaise with governments abroad on the terror issue.
