Army officer killed in Armenia

Army officer killed in Armenia

An officer was killed in one of the military units dislocated in the northeast of Armenia.

The statement came from the news service for the Defense Ministry of Armenia.

Lieutenant Mavrik Melikyan was found with a gunwound in his head at about 13.00 on June 30 at the area of the military unit. Melikyan died on the way to hospital. Investigation is underway.
