Russia to supply Armenia with Iskander M missile complexes

Armenian parliament will hold an extraordinary session today.

Armenia may get Russia`s cutting-edge missile complexes `Iskander M` that are considered one of the best Russian inventions with quite high technical characteristics, AzVision.az reports citing Zhamanak newspaper, a source close to the ruling Republican party of Armenia.

The edition reminds that the parliamentary session will consider the ratification of the Russian-Armenian agreement on allocation to Armenia of a preferential loan worth USD 200mln for provision of Armenian armed forces with cutting-edge Russian weapon.

The newspaper says that `Russia`s intention to arm Armenia with missile complexes Iskander M may have a number of motivations".
