Putin: Russia interested in Karabakh conflict settlement more than anyone else

All participants of the negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement genuinely strive for regulation, but Russia is interested in it more than anyone else, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday during a session of the Valdai Discussion Club, AzVision.az reports citing TASS.

“This is a special situation for us,” Putin said, stressing that as the co-chairs of the group [Minsk Group] established in 1992, Russia, France and the United States bear responsible for regulation.

"I would very much like for a compromise to be found,” the Russian leader added.
