SOCAR suspends shipment of oil from Novorossiysk port
In June 2015, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 339 020 tons of crude oil from the port of Supsa and 1 699 925 tons from the port of Ceyhan.
In June 2015, oil was not shipped from Novorossiysk port, despite the fact that in the first half of 2015, 678 046 tons of oil were shipped from this port through the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, which is 33.4% more than in the same period last year.

SOCAR notes that in general in January-June 678 460 tons were exported from Novorossiysk port, 1 524 900 tons - from the port of Supsa, 9 203 947 tons of crude oil - from the port of Ceyhan.

Figures of volume of crude oil exported by SOCAR, include crude oil belonging to the Azerbaijan state, as well as to the company itself.

In addition, in June 2015, 2 597 725 tons of Azerbaijani oil were exported on via main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC).

And 14 544 284 tons of oil were transported in January-June this year. In total, since the commissioning of the pipeline and up to 1 July 2015, the amount of pumping was 278 369 216 tons.

In addition, BTC pipeline transported 343 394 tons of Kazakh and Turkmen oil in June this year and the figure was 482 622 tons in May.
