Armenian team of PACE Chairman - DOSSIER, PHOTOS
Removal of the expression on the occupation of Nagorno Karabakh from the resolution adopted at the last meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe not only caused a fury in Azerbaijan, but also raised a question: - Why? Who and what made PACE to take such a step?

The photo posted a day before the meeting answers the very questions.

A photo history

On the day of opening of PACE summer session, June 22, 2015 – Anne Brasseur, the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe posted a photo on Twitter where she posed together with the Azerbaijani immigrants and representatives of several international organizations, known with their tough anti-Azerbaijan stance.

The people standing next to Anne Brasseur in the picture are: John Dalhuisen, Amnesty International’s Director for Europe and Central Asia; Giorgi Gogia, ‘Human Rights Watch’s South Caucasus representative; Florian Irminger, Head of Advocacy and Human Rights House Foundation in Geneva; Dominica Busavska-Siniarska, an employee of Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights; Dinara Yunus, daughter of Leyla&Arif Yunus; Gulnara Akhundova, program manager for International Media Support and Kenan Aliyev (Kazimoghlu), an employee of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

As mentioned before, the photo was taken a day before the hearings on Azerbaijan at the PACE Office in Strasbourg. The PACE chairman’s meeting with the above mentioned pro-Armenian people before the hearings, proves once more that the removal of the expression related with the occupation of Nagorno Karabakh from the resolution is not accidental and that the meeting was organized at the level of PACE chairman.

According to the information obtained from the PACE sources, Anne Brasseur met with Dinara Yunus prior to the hearings and promised her that the names of Leyla&Arif Yunus, Intigam Aliyev, Khadija Ismayil, Rasul Jafarov and others will be added to the resolution; at the same time the expression of “the occupation of Nagorno Karabakh and surrounding regions by Armenia” will be removed from the resolution.

Who are they?

The people standing next to Brasseur are well known for the people who are aware of them, for those who are not, we can say that they represent non-governmental sector at the anti-Azerbaijan campaign in the PACE. During the autumn session of PACE in Strasbourg (on October 2, 2014) , Gulnara Akhundova, Giorgi Gogia and Florian Irminger were keynote speakers at the hearings titled “Unprecedented Repressions in Azerbaijan”.

We can say unequivocally, during the period of her chairing, Anne Brasseur created all conditions for Armenian agents to realize anti-Azerbaijan propaganda. It is not an accidental too: in early April, 2015 during her visit to Yerevan, Anne Brasseur gave a statement recognizing “Armenian Genocide”. That step which was noteworthy for a PACE chairman, once more confirmed her sympathy towards Armenians.

The main “Azerbaijani” guests of Anne Brasseur who posts her photos with Georgian and Armenian officials on “Twitter” with great pleasure, are usually the pro-Armenian people functioning against Official Baku. Why pro-Armenian? Well, you say then: How can we call the people who cooperates against Azerbaijan together with a person who does not conceal her sympathy towards Armenians by recognizing the so-called “Armenian Genocide”?

Let`s get closely acquainted

One of the persons in the photo with Anne Brasseur is John Dalhuisen, Amnesty International`s Director for Europe and Central Asia. He was a Special Advisor to the Commissioner for Human Rights in the years 2001-2006.

There are interesting information about his personal life. The closest friend of Dalhuisen’s father was Armenian, who was directly involved in John’s upbringing. Dalhuisen himself said it in reply to the officials who wanted to convey Azerbaijan’s position on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said, he was not going to believe in any argument by Azerbaijani side on the conflict, as he had known Armenians’ position since his childhood.

Being a representative Amnesty International John Dalhuisen tried to go to Morocco to carry out an investigation on the rights of refugees and migrants, but was deported from the country being considered `a person making threat to public order`.

What is interesting is that, Dalhuisen wanted to carry out an investigation in Morocco, though this country is not supervised by his office. As we mentioned he is Amnesty International`s director for Europe and Central Asia only.

The other person you see in the photo is Giorgi Gogia, the Human Rights Watch`s South-Caucasus representative. He graduated from Central European University in Hungary.

In an article he wrote on November 12, 2014, he noted that Azerbaijan’s chairmanship in the Council of Europe`s Committee of Ministers “was an insult to the organization and its values!”

Though Gogia is a representative of the Organization for the South Caucasus, he dedicated all his work to the criticism against Azerbaijan. He is one of those who makes hard-hitting statements against Azerbaijan on the arrest of Leyla Yunus. It is not accidental: usually, representatives of international organizations and foreign media outlets in Georgia are georgified Armenians or Georgians of Armenian origin.

Natalia Nozadze, the representative of the Amnesty International for South Caucasus and Margarita Antidze, the Reuters’ South Caucasus’ correspondent are armenians accepted Georgian surnames. And this fact plays a key role in their battle with Azerbaijan.

According to the information obtained from Georgian sources, Giorgi Gogia’s mother is also an Armenian. Therefore, he keeps hostile position against Azerbaijan and supports Leyla Yunus and others like her.

As for Leyla and Arif Yunus’ daughter Dinara, it is not a secret for anybody that her paternal grandmother was an Armenian woman, Arsaluys Barseghian; and paternal grandfather was brought up in an Armenian family. Anne Brasseur, often receives Dinara Yunus in Strasbourg and constantly trying to put pressure on the government by making hard-hitting statements on `the Yunus’s case` , and on their lawyers work.

At present, Dinara Yunus is one of the main propagandists against Azerbaijan in the Western Europe. In May, 2015 Dinara Yunus, together with American Rebecca Vincent organized a protest action against Azerbaijan in front of the European Parliament in Brussels. She is sponsored by the "Human Rights House Foundation" in Norway, "European Foundation for Democracy (EFD)," and Ireland`s “Frontline Defenders”.

The other person in is Florian Irminger, the Head of Advocacy and Human Rights House Foundation in Geneva. As we mentioned above, "Human Rights House Foundation" is one of the main organizations funding Dinara’s activity. Irminger is well known for her sharp stance against Azerbaijan.

Human Rights House Foundation is one of the main coordinators of serial protest actions on “political prisoners” in Azerbaijan held in November-December 2014 in front of the UK, Belgium, Poland, Ukraine, Czech embassies, as well as in front of the International Olympic Committee in London.

The other person in the picture is Dominica Busavska-Siniarska, an employee of Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights; she has close ties with pro-opposition NGOs. She is often called to participate as an expert at the seminars held by Intigam Aliyev in Baku. She has close relations with Leyla Yunus.

After Professor Christian Witt (from "Charite" clinic Germany) examined Leyla Yunus in Baku and gave an objective opinion on her health, Dominica became the main organizer of the campaign of pressure against him.

The other person in the picture is Kenan Aliyev, an employee of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. He is an active and permanent participant of anti-Azerbaijan hearings held in Washington. Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of Azerbaijan knew his ancestors very well. They are originally from Nakhchivan and H.Aliyev helped them a lot. Calling back that fact, Heydar Aliyev asked him to avoid from anti-Azerbaijan propaganda and to be loyal to the state. Heydar Aliyev said, being young enough, he could be easily deceived.

But Kanan- now a minion of Nelson Letsky, the former director of the US National Democratic Institute and “husband” of Joanna Levenson who is quite older than him -prefered to betray his motherland as it is very profitable for him.

At the same time, the kompromat by the intelegence agencies against Kanan, made his return to Azerbaijan impossible.

The next person in the picture is Gulnara Akhundova, the program manager for International Media Support. She has close ties with Emin Huseynov, who fled to Switzerland and worked at IRFS for a period. She is also an active member of the pro-Armenian team.

Now you have become aware, how has the team working against Azerbaijan been formed and who are the team members. What else can be expected from a `Group` formed by such kind of people?!
