Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry gives iftar
Ambassadors of Muslim countries expressed their gratitude.
Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov on behalf of the Ministry invited ambassadors of Muslim countries in Azerbaijan to iftar.

Oxu.Az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that Khalafov said Azerbaijan is an integral part of the Islamic world, and attaches great importance to development of comprehensive relations with Muslim countries.

He stressed that cooperation between the two countries in political, economic and cultural spheres are deepening on both a bilateral and a multilateral basis.

Khalaf Khalafov said that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is on the rise.

Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the deputy minister praised the support of Muslim countries for the fair position of Azerbaijan and noted that the OIC has repeatedly expressed a clear position on the realities of the conflict by adopting resolutions that reflect the true picture of the conflict based on international law, and again expressed his gratitude to the member countries for their support.

Khalaf Khalafov wished success to the ambassadors of Muslim countries in Azerbaijan and prosperity, happiness and development of their people and the governments in this holy month.

Speaking on behalf of the ambassadors of Muslim countries in Azerbaijan, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Hassan Hami expressed his satisfaction with the organization of Iftar, and thanked on behalf of his colleagues.
