During the counteroffensive operations conducted over the past day, the Azerbaijani Army has eliminated nine more PKK/YPG terrorists fighting on the side of the Armenian army, as a result of a strike on a truck carrying terrorists, AzVision.az reports citing reliable military sources.

According to the source, after the Azerbaijani army broke through the front line in the Khojavend direction, the Armenian command attempted to send troops in the same direction. However, as the Armenian soldiers refused to attack, the command sent PKK/YPG terrorists in that direction.

Meanwhile, yesterday the Azerbaijani Army eliminated Firat Piran, the leader of a group in the YPG terrorist organization, the Syrian wing of the PKK in the counteroffensive measures in Karabakh.

He was involved in the recruitment of PKK/YPG terrorists in battles in Karabakh.
