Former Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, who took part in the battles in Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh, returned to Yerevan, Azvision.az reports.
The Armenian general coordinated military operations against Azerbaijan. Despite the tense situation in the conflict zone, Davtyan said he had nothing to do there and rushed back Yerevan.
Davtyan was unexpectedly fired on June 8 in 2020. Later, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan appointed him as the chairperson of the Military-Industrial Committee.
