In his interview with AzVision.az, Chairman of the Turkish Workers` Party appraised the current situation in Turkey after the elections held on July 7.
- Turkey is being divided in a democratic way. As you see, immediately after the elections, the Kurdish corridor at the North part of Syria opens by the US and Israel. So, on one hand they are trying to divide Turkey in a democratic way, by giving seats to HDP (pro-Kurdish Peoples` Democratic Party), thence to the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party)) in the Parliament. On the other hand, Turkey is being threatened by armed attacks from abroad. Combining internal and external powers, they want to drag Turkey into danger. In a word, the United States tries to divide Turkey. This is the main result of the elections.
- How is it correct to lump HDP together with PKK ?
They are the same. The HDP is an unarmed wing of the PKK.
It is afraid of American Patriotic Party. The Vatan(motherland) Party had been a target even during Ergenekon and Balyoz case. As the United States does not want the Vatan Party to grow. The Republican People`s Party (CHP) left Ataturk line and went into the control of the global centers and became a more pro-American than the Justice and Development Party (AKP) .
- Now, the AKP-MHP coalition has the largest place in the minds...
- The United States does not want such a coalition. The US wants an AKP- CHP coaltion. Because, coalition with the MHP it is more national. The CHP is now in panic. Even if there was a coalition with the MHP, the CHP would remain outside the government. In the other words, the CHP would melt.
