  Armenia begins mass arrests of opposition activists -   VIDEO

A protest rally is being held in Yerevan, Armenia. The government has started mass arrests of opposition activists demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, AzVision.az reports.

The police have already detained officials of some political parties and public activists who gathered in Yerevan’s Freedom Square. Among the detainees are Gagik Tsarukyan, chairman of the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party, representatives of the Republican Party - Vagram Baghdasaryan (former MP) , Vardan Ayvazyan, Gegam Petrosyan, Ayk Mamidjanyan, Karine Achemyan, and others.

The protest rally is going on.
