Azerbaijan MDI issues statement on plant accident

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry (MDI) has issued a statement on the industrial accident occurred on Monday at its Telemekhanika" plant in the country’s Shirvan city.

A breakthrough occurred at 11:30 AM as a result of short circuit in a shop of the plant and fire broke out in the area of 20 sq. meters, the ministry told APA.

Consequently, one employee died and six others were injured. The injured are under medical supervision.
