Poroshenko sure Russian gas transit to EU via Ukraine has no alternative

The Ukrainian president said that any gas transportation projects bypassing Ukraine were unsustainable and meaningless.

"I am confident that the transit through Ukraine and the transit agreement between Ukraine`s Naftogaz and [Russia`s] Gazprom, or between Ukraine and Russia, will be extended beyond 2019 because there is no economic or any other alternative," Poroshenko said in Kiev.
