"Servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent ensured security of the civilian population and organized the district’s transfer," the ministry noted.
On November 9, the Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian leaders signed a joint statement declaring a complete ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the statement, Aghdam, Kalbajar and Lachin districts are transferred to Azerbaijan.
