Turkey, Russia fail to reach agreement on construction of Turkish Stream
Turkey and Russia failed to reach a final agreement on construction of Turkish Stream pipeline, Turkish Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Taner Yildiz said.
He added that although the sides reached a preliminary agreement on a number of issues June 13 in Baku, there is no a final agreement between them on construction of Turkish Stream for the present, Anadolu agency reported July 8.

The first branch of Turkish Stream pipeline from Russia to Turkey’s west should be commissioned in late 2016.

It will aim to supply gas to Turkey’s west instead of transit through Ukraine’s territory. The next three branches of this pipeline are meant to supply gas to Central Asian and South European countries.
