  Russian peacekeepers demine over 70 hectares of land in Karabakh

Engineering and fortification units of the Russian peacekeeping contingent have completed the demining of more than 70 hectares of land and more than 23 km of roads in Karabakh, said Russia’s Defense Ministry, AzVision.az reports.

The Russian ministry noted that more than 4,500 explosives have already been neutralized.

“In general, engineering units in Karabakh cleared more than 70 hectares of land, more than 23 km of roads, 157 houses and social facilities of mines. Over 4,500 explosives were found and neutralized,” it added.
