They exchanged views on prospects of cooperation, as well as various directions of relations between the two countries.
Mr. Aliyev highlighted steadily developing relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico, saying cooperation in energy field would contribute to strengthening bonds.
Juan Rodrigo Labardini Flores, in turn, said trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Mexico consists of 2 million dollars. He also added Mexico is keen on to increase this turnover, saying energy cooperation would play an important role.
They stressed the importance of formalizing the legal base for the energy cooperation.
