Armenia will declare three days of mourning for its military losses in Karabakh.

In his address via Facebook, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said three days of mourning will be declared throughout the country from December 19, AzVision.az reports.

Pashinyan noted that the parties to the conflict are close to starting the exchange of prisoners of war.

The former Armenian ambassador to the Vatican, Mikayel Minasyan, earlier said at least 4,750 Armenian servicemen were killed in clashes in Karabakh. In total, Armenia has reportedly lost over 5,000 servicemen. The number of the wounded servicemen has exceeded 10,000.
