Ljubov Kazarnovskaya and German Sterligov were included in the list of undesirable persons of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told on July 10.
German Sterligov, having controversial biography, probably knew before visiting Azerbaijan’s territories occupied by Armenia that the occupied territories are a favorable place for conducting money laundering and other criminal acts via Armenian banking system. The speech by Sterligov, known with his schismatic views on ethnic and religious basis, about “human values” in Azerbaijan`s occupied historical city – Shusha is beyond all moral, ethical and legal frameworks. A person speaking about “human values” should at least understand that the Azerbaijanis were forcedly displaced from these territories by Armenia as a result of the bloody ethnic cleansing inherent to the ideology of fascism,” said Hajiyev.
The spokesman regarded Sterligov’s statement to hold a press conference in the occupied territories as an attempt of failed “self-promotion” of him and his accomplice criminal regime.
“We urge media representatives not to succumb to this provocation and avoid illegal visits to the occupied territories. Illegal visit of media representatives to the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia is a gross violation of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On state border” and accreditation rules intended for media representatives. In case of an illegal visit, those media representatives will be included in the list of undesirable persons of the foreign ministry, Hajiyev added.
