The sides discussed preparations for the Conference of the Parties (COP) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to be held in Paris in late 2015.
Moreover, they stressed the importance of activating mitigation measures on climate change, taking adequate adaptation measures to reduce the impact of climate change and minimize losses, as well as further expanding bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US on environmental protection.
