“Azerbaijan`s position is very constructive”
The negotiations on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are underway, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told reporters on July 10.
According to the minister, Azerbaijan`s position on resolution of the conflict is clear.
“As a compromise, we can discuss the status of Nagorno-Karabakh only within Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity. Azerbaijan`s position is very constructive. It means to achieve the people’s returning, open the ways and restore all the relations. The restoration of all the ways and communications will allow us to establish normal relations in the region step by step. All know that the negotiations are underway on this basis. Both the co-chairs and the Azerbaijani side take steps in this regard. Only Armenia should accept it. It will do sooner or later. I have no doubt”, added the minister.
