EU says keen on exploring SGC possible extension to Western Balkans

EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi called the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe ‘good news.”

“Good news to start the year! TAP pipeline began to transport natural gas from Azerbaijan to Europe. Southern Gas Corridor is now operational and we are keen on exploring its possible extension to the Western Balkans,” Varhelyi tweeted.
