According to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan that the head of state was informed about the works held in the park.
It was noted that the construction work launched at the park in August of this year is currently underway. The total area of the park is half a hectare. Pavilions have been built, broad bands of landscaping have been created , a modern fountain has been built.
President Ilham Aliyev met with representatives of the local public.
After welcoming the participants of the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev said:
" I am very happy to be visiting Yardimli. This is my third visit to Yardimli as President. On my way here, I recalled my first visit . Then - in 2005 we celebrated the reconstruction of Masalli- Yardimli highway. At the time, it was a big project, as the old road was not in a very good condition. New road was built. Then, in 2006 we celebrated the supply of natural gas to Yardimli. It was also a historical day . Since even in the Soviet times natural gas was not supplied here. Then the lines were laid. Today, according to my information, most of the city is gasified. Gas lines are laid in several villages. In the future, of course, gasification will be carried out completely. And today we celebrate the implementation of another important project - the supply of drinking water to Yardimli
You see, the history itself is an indicator. Road, gas, drinking water - that`s life. A clean drinking water is a healthy life. According to information provided to me now, by the end of this year, all the lines will be laid. Beginning next year, the problem of drinking water in the city Yardymli will be fully resolved. In addition, the local structures are busy laying pipelines in the village. This is also a great initiative. I support, I welcome it . We need to implement major infrastructure projects. At the same time, today we are celebrating the opening of a rural road . Work has also begun on construction of new transmission lines. Because when strong winds blow in Yardimli , the old supports break down and this leads to blackouts. Now we are installing new, solid support, and this problem will be settled.
All of these major projects are being implemented to ensure that people lived comfortably. I am sure that these initiatives are highly assessed by the people. Since the basic infrastructure issues facing the district are settled in a short time. Of course, much is yet to be done in the future. We must continue all this work. In particular, in the coming years we should take even more important measures to promote entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is growing rapidly throughout the country. New agricultural enterprises are being created. I believe further steps in this direction must be taken in Yardimli. Villagers should be given financial assistance to enable them to do business on a high level.
A drinking water project is symbolic. Since this, above all, demonstrates the power of the Azerbaijani state . On the other hand, it shows the state policy of Azerbaijan. At the center of our policy is a citizen of Azerbaijan. Drinking water is a major issue for the human body. Therefore, supply of clean drinking water is of particular importance in Yardimli. It locates in a mountain area. All the infrastructural projects must be implemented here . As I said, it shows the history of the last seven or eight years. Road, electricity, gas, water , of course , the improvement of the district. In this respect, we have done a lot of work. Yardimli is developing. Beautiful buildings are under construction . Today we celebrated the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center. During my previous visits we opened schools and kindergartens. Now it is necessary to do this work in the future.
