Russia does not intend to recognize “independence” of Karabakh, Lavrov says

Russia does not intend to recognize “independence” of Karabakh, Lavrov says

The “independence” of Nagorno-Karabakh has not recognized by any country, including Armenia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference on Monday, AzVision.az reports.

Lavrov stressed that Russia has also no such intention.

“We do not intend to recognize the “independence” of Nagorno-Karabakh. All problems in the region must be resolved through negotiations,” the minister added.
