  Citizens try to beat Armenia ruling party MP for Karabakh defeat 

Armenian citizens tried to beat MP Rustam Bakoyan from the ruling party for “Karabakh betrayal”, AzVision.az reports citing Armenian media.

The MP appealed to the police after the incident.

According to Pastinfo, some people tried to beat deputy of the ruling party Rustam Bakoyan, who had been hiding in his acquaintance’s house in the Ajapnyak district of Yerevan. The neighbors found out about this and tried to punish him for the ruling party’s defeatist policy. There was pushing and shoving, and the attendees used swear words against the deputy.

After the incident, Bakoyan rushed to the police station in Ajapnyak district and reported a crime. The deputy told the police that people had used swear words against him, tried to beat him and had damaged his car. Investigation is underway.
