President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko presented a special award "Through art - to peace and mutual understanding" Polad Bulbuloglu, chaired the jury of "Vitebsk- 2015" song contest this year, AzVision.Az reports citing to Belta.
The ceremony took place during the grand closing of the 24 International Art Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk".
"I had to come, I`m stuck in the" Slavic Bazaar". I could not carry out my functions at the opening of the festival, but I will fulfill them at the closing," the President said.
Polad Bulbuloglu warmly thanked Lukashenko.
"On behalf of all the participants, let me express to you, as the leader of this beautiful country, my gratitude for a wonderful celebration of music, arts festival, which was held in Vitebsk.
I consider this award not as a personal contribution, but as your attention to the development of friendly relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan," said the the famous and loved by many generations artist.
