Armenian media releases false reports about Karabakh horses, belong to Azerbaijan
Recent days, Armenian media outlets release false reports about Karabakh horses, which unconditionally belong to Azerbaijan, head of the department of information and public relations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Vugar Shikhmammadov told.

`As the continuation of military occupation against Azerbaijan, Armenian side continues its policy of aggression and misappropriation against Azerbaijan’s non-material cultural heritage and national and cultural values`, he added.

Many researches, historical literatures, as well as different sources allow to say that the Karabakh horses have been generated by pure-blooded horses which existed in the past times in Azerbaijan: “To note that within the visit of the First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev to Britain, just Karabakh horses were demonstrated in front of Princess Elizabeth II”.

Shikhmammadov added that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism assesses the false reports released by Armenian media outlets as the continuation of its aggressive policy against Azerbaijan’s national, heritable and local genofond: “Over 300 Karabakh horses in Aghdam horse-breeding plant were moved to Lemberan village of Barda region during the military occupation by Armenians in 1993 and are being generated there. It’s not accidental that Chovken – horse game was included in UNESCO Emergency Protection list in 2013”.
