According to the statement, peacekeepers monitor the situation around the clock in 27 observation posts and monitor the ceasefire. The ceasefire is observed along the entire line of contact.
"The Russian peacekeepers ensure the return of residents to their places of residence, the movement of civilian vehicles, the transportation of food and various goods through the Lachin corridor," said the ministry.
According to the statement, 52,415 people have returned to Nagorno-Karabakh since November 14, 2020.
The Russian peacekeeping contingent regularly holds combat training and exercises to prevent violations and possible attacks on the observation post. The military personnel of all observation posts are equipped with fortifications designed to protect against firearms and shrapnel.
