The ministry said necessary measures are underway to strengthen the defense capabilities of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and increase the combat readiness of the Army Special Forces.
Personnel of the units of Army Special Forces, armored vehicles, aircrafts, air defense systems, missile and artillery troops were involved in nighttime live-firing tactical exercises, said the ministry.

In accordance with the 2015 combat readiness programme, Azerbaijani armed forces is holding live-firing tactical exercises in unsteady weather, difficult terrain and law visibility conditions with the involvement of all military units and formations, the Defense Ministry told.
