 Russian, Armenian FMs discuss Karabakh issue

The Russian and Armenian foreign ministers discussed regional security and stability in Moscow.

Sergey Lavrov and Ara Ayvazyan also exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements of 10 November 2020 and 11 January 2021 on Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia's Foreign Ministry said, AzVision.az reports.

The Armenian minister stressed the importance of the exchange of prisoners of war in the context of solving humanitarian problems.

Ayvazyan also welcomed Russia’s efforts to improve the humanitarian situation in Karabakh.

The sides also underscored the need to resolve topical issues within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
