Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov has praised Azerbaijan`s importance in terms of ensuring the energy security of his country.
Mr Mitov said Bulgaria is interested in expanding gas transportation from Azerbaijan. The Minister said the diversification of export routes and transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Bulgaria would contribute to his country`s economic independence.
