  Opposition activists detained in Armenia

Armenian police have detained chairman of the “Civic Consciousness” NGO Narek Samsonyan and head of “Veto” socio-political movement Narek Malyan.

The police rejected to explain the reason behind the detention of the opposition activists, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian media.

Earlier, Armenia’s National Security Service detained Karen Bekaryan, co-founder of Karyak Media holding, and Ara Sagatelyan, former head of the parliament’s office.
