Argentina, Azerbaijan discuss cooperation in ICT and space communications
Argentina and Azerbaijan have discussed the prospects of cooperation in the fields of information technologies and space communication, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
According to the ministry, cooperation was discussed in Argentina between the Azerbaijani ambassador to the country Mammad Ahmadzade and Minister of Federal Planning, Public Investment and Services of Argentina Julio de Vido.

The cooperation and implementation of joint projects in energy and infrastructure, as well as improvement of the legal framework were also discussed.

The possibility of Argentina`s participation in the Bakutel- 2013 exhibition and conference (Dec. 2-5) was also discussed during the meeting.

Earlier, Argentine company INVAP SE invited the Azerbaijani side to cooperate in the space area. Talks on cooperation in this sphere were held by the management of INVAP SE and Azerkosmos in early 2013.

INVAP S.E. management expressed its willingness to cooperate with Azerkosmos in the space sphere, the implementation of joint projects and the exchange of experience and staff training in this area.

INVAP S.E. is implementing high-tech projects in the nuclear, aerospace, energy, medical areas. The company supplies equipment to more than 30 countries worldwide. Foreign satellite offices and subsidiaries of the company are working in Australia, Brazil, Chile, Egypt and the U.S.
