According to the Armenian police, some 51 protesters were detained during the rally, AzVision.az reports.
The protesters tried to prevent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from entering the government building. Long before the start of the protest rally, police forces gathered outside the government building.
The police also reportedly used violence against the protesters in Yerevan.
