Ex-Armenian president’s supporters hold protest in Yerevan

Ex-Armenian president’s supporters hold protest in Yerevan

Supporters of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan held a protest rally outside the Court of General Jurisdiction in Yerevan on Tuesday, AzVision.az reports citing local media.

The protesters blocked the avenue, chanting "Nation, army, victory!"

Today the court is holding a session on the criminal case against Khocharyan and former senior officials. Kocharyan is accused of dispersing the 1 March 2008 protests and overthrowing the constitutional order in the country.
