According to Ohanyan, before the Karabakh war (from late September to early December 2020), about 1,200 COVID-19 cases were registered among Armenian servicemen, their family members, employees of the Defense Ministry’s Office and the General Chief.
He noted that during the war the number of infections reached 3,500.
There are currently 150 coronavirus patients among the military and their family members, Ohanyan said, adding. “In total, ten coronavirus-related deaths were registered among servicemen and their family members during the pandemic.”
