Death Toll of Minibus Crash in Russia`s Chechnya Reaches 11
A number of victims of a minibus crash in Russia`s North Caucasus republic of Chechnya has risen to 11 people, a local emergencies source told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, a minibus carrying 17 people fell into a ravine in the Vedensky District of Chechnya from the height of 200 meters (some 656 feet). It was reported earlier that nine people had died in the accident and eight had been hospitalized.

"Two more victims of the "Gazel" minibus fall into a ravine in Chechnya have died in hospital," the source said.

He added that all victims were women.

Two more passengers are in intensive care, diagnosed with fractures and head injuries, the deputy chief physician of the Grozny city hospital №9 told RIA Novosti.
