The European Union supports the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Azerbaijan.
President of the European Council Donald Tusk made the remarks on July 22 during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
Donald Tusk expressed hope for an early settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“The EU wants a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The settlement of the conflict must be a priority for us. The EU supports the Minsk process within the OSCE,” he added.
