Ex-Armenian Defense Minister refuses to comment on use of Iskander missile against Azerbaijan

Former Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan refused to speak, whether Armenia applied during the war in Karabakh missile complexes “Iskander”, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian media.

“I am not going to disclose a state secret,” Tonayan noted.

Tonoyan also did not answer the question of whether the former head of the General Staff of Onyk Gasparyan proposed to stop the war on the fourth day of hostilities. At the same time, the former Minister stressed that the head of the General Staff could not submit any report without his knowledge.

“Meetings of the Security Council are a state secret, and I do not intend to reveal it,” he added.

Note that, on March 15, 2021, during the landmine clearance operations in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, the ANAMA (Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action) detected the fragments of two broken missiles in Shusha. During the test, the specialists of the agency identification number of the rocket found that her debris belongs to the Iskander missile system.
