100 big explosions in eastern Iran prevented by recent arrest of terrorists
Terrorists who were arrested recently on eastern borders of the country could have planned 100 big explosions, said Iranian Chief of Border Police Qasem Rezaei.
A terrorist group, trying to enter the Iranian territory via its eastern border, launched an attack at the borderline in Mirjaveh county in Sistan and Baluchestan province on July 11, but in the battle some of the terrorist group members were killed and three were arrested, one was injured.

When the arrested terrorists were interrogated, they acknowledge that they had been instructed to disrupt peace and security in southeastern part of the country, Iran ’s Fars news agency quoted Rezaei as saying July 22.

The terrorists confessed that they had planned terrorist acts in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan and Kerman, and especially the city of Bam, he added.

A lot of weapons, ammunition, and equipment was confiscated during the operation, the Iranian commander said.
